It’s Josh Scramble’s actual birthday, so the Madhouse crew does what it does best: celebrates with love… and immediately turns it into a group therapy session for anyone born within blast radius of Christmas. Special guest local music legend Chad “Bacon” Burton drops into the (very mid) basement studio, roasts our setup with his manly radio voice, and joins the debate on the cruelest holiday tradition of all: the dreaded “one gift for both” birthday/Christmas combo. We also take a nostalgic detour through Service Merchandise, catalogs heavy enough to commit a felony, and the eternal rule: if a kid has a December birthday, don’t be a dick—give two gifts.
